I had to be away from Halifax for three weeks during the Beginner 1 course, and I really missed our classes. Every Tuesday, I found myself thinking of Maria and Marel; you both have become such an important part of my week and a cherished routine for me. This was a great class with a fun crew. I liked the challenge of the long footwork sequence. I don’t tend the grasp new steps immediately so the videos were incredibly helpful for practice at home. Maria makes learning fun and she’s great at assessing where the class is, making sure it’s never too simple or way over our heads, but just right.
